Conwy County Borough Council … No forward planning… A big No to the Community

As you can see the above statement in the Daily Post ( awful Paper ) shows how Ccbc took vital funding from the Pot, to Help Ysgol Gogarth

Ysgol Gogarth is a fantastic school, state of the Art built on Bodafon Fields in Craig Y Don.

It was 400 yards from my house, and had an Astro Turf/3g pitch built within the grounds.

After several meetings with Ysgol Gogarth, they refused to hire out the facility to my self.

I questioned why a state of the art School that had many issues with local planning, could not of integrated this Facility with the provision that the Astro could be Hired out to the community.

With all that money, surely they could of designed the facility to be fenced and as caretakers were on site, surely a consideration for them to open/close for customers? Being fenced off, and away from residents of the school so welfare was adhered too, was an easy solution. This would not impact on the school or Children. There is enough land and with better planning would be SUSTAINABLE.

You may ask that it was solely for the students, but surely to maintain a revenue what better way to make extra money than hire it out.

Not just for me but for the Whole community, gaining valuable £££

A missed opportunity which ccbc are now trying to claw back valuable funds.

So within 1 mile of my house, I couldn’t Hire any Gouncil run Leisure centres, Llandudno Fc or Ysgol Gogarth.

I had an Faw Football Accreditation showing I was 1 of only 16 companies in Wales that was designed to give the public confidence in my profession. It would also as the Accreditation was sold to me by the Faw Trust, help hire facilities.

Basically that Accreditation wasnt worth the paper it was written on. , yet cost me £250 a year.

Updated policy giving favourable advantage to charities or not for profit organisations. I still asked the question if I could use for a Junior Football club ” Jubilee DRAGONS ‘ again I was told no. The club was Not for profit at all although Local Police officers stated it was to enhance my buisness.
